Two Tips for Business Owners Who Want to Use an Online T-Shirt Printing Service

If you're a business owner and want to use a sign company's online t-shirt printing service, here are a few tips that you might find useful.

Ask for some sample t-shirts in a variety of fabrics and designs

You should request some sample t-shirts, in a variety of designs and fabrics, before deciding which ones you'll use. If you order these items online without asking for samples first, it will be harder for you to tell before you order which fabrics are soft, thick or warm enough. It could also be harder to know exactly what your design will look like on the t-shirts, as your computer's display settings may affect how saturated the t-shirt colours look as well as how pixelated the design you've asked for appears.

Getting some sample t-shirts will ensure that you not only pick the right colours but will also ensure that you don't, for example, overspend by bulk-buying dozens of pure cotton, top-quality ones, when in reality, the more affordable cotton-polyester mix t-shirts feel sufficiently soft and well-made. Conversely, it will also ensure that you don't end up spending too little and subsequently discover that you have ordered t-shirts which are a bit too thin to be worn on their own (which would mean any marketing images you had printed on them would go unseen when people wear these garments).

Carefully consider where on the t-shirts you need to place the image or words to make them noticeable

If you're hoping that the designs on the t-shirts you order from the sign business will be seen by your enterprise's demographic when your employees wear them on your premises or when your existing customers wear them in public, then you must be fussy regarding the placement of the design on the t-shirt. For example, if your employees are normally seated whilst they're working or if they wear blazers as part of their uniform, then you should only have the design printed on the front of their t-shirts, as their backs will be obscured by the backs of the chairs and by their blazers.

Similarly, if you want the marketing message you get printed on the t-shirts to be at least partly visible at all times, even when customers who wear them get cold and put jumpers on, you might want to ask for a smaller version of this marketing message to be printed on the collars or necklines of these t-shirts.
